About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Attendant to join our team at Minton House. As a Home Support Attendant, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for Pets: Provide care and attention to our clients' pets, ensuring their needs are met and they receive regular exercise and attention.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to our clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and completing paperwork.
  • First Aid and Emergency Response: Administer first aid in emergency situations and respond to any medical emergencies that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Site Environment: Our work site is a non-smoking environment.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
