Job Summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an Electromechanical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and conveyors
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify root causes of issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatics
  • Understanding of automation systems, including PLCs
  • Ability to work with a variety of equipment, including tray sealers, shrink wrappers, and vacuum packagers
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a focus on safety and quality. You will be working with a variety of equipment and systems, and must be able to troubleshoot and repair issues in a timely manner.
