Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests at the counter, receiving telephone orders, and performing various tasks to support other dining room employees. This role may involve working as part of a team to ensure seamless delivery of food and drinks to customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, friendly, and attentive;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations;
- Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently to minimize wait times;
- Prepare and serve beverages, condiments, and desserts for take-out orders;
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance daily financial transactions;
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors or management.
Estimated Salary Range: $25,000 - $35,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to multitask effectively, and demonstrate flexibility in their work schedule. Bilingualism is a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions
As a Take-out Team Member, you can expect to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. Work hours are generally pre-scheduled, but occasional split shifts may be required. The work environment can be fast-paced, with pressure to maintain productivity during peak periods.
