Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Yard Coordinator / Labourer at our Bolton branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and organization of our equipment and warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including washing and cleaning.
  • Organize and maintain equipment in the warehouse and yard, ensuring optimal storage and accessibility.
  • Operate hand and power tools, including grinders, to perform tasks as required.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment, and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and report any damage or issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to colleagues and customers.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use cellphone applications.
  • Forklift experience and mechanical aptitude are assets.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organization skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
