Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Lead to join our team in Toronto, Canada. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $130,000-$180,000 per year.

About the Role

This role will involve developing and maintaining data engineering pipelines, business intelligence solutions, and analytics platforms. You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Analytics Technology & Engineering, to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives that support our team's business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data engineering pipelines using various technologies such as Python, R, VBA, or object-oriented programming languages.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical specifications for data engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement business intelligence solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges and implement process improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, or object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
