Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Service Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a Tire Service Truck and providing exceptional customer service at the Front Counter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate commercial and OTR tires on location and in-store.
  • Repair commercial and automotive tires in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Inspect tires and wheels for correct inflation, wear patterns, tread depth, etc.
  • Answer initial service calls and reset tire pressure monitoring systems.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies are returned in good working condition to their proper location.
  • Provide accurate and professional customer service.
  • Maintain tire service equipment and understand safe operation of all equipment.

Front Counter Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with customers on all aspects of service.
  • Share product knowledge and technical expertise with customers to build existing and new business.
  • Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on customer vehicles.
  • Schedule customer appointments for tire services.
  • Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, and wheel service to customers.
  • Ensure all products are billed accurately to the customer.

Requirements

  • Experience working with farm and OTR tires is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
  • A team player willing to follow direction and take on any tire or task.
  • A valid driver's license is a must, and we require a satisfactory driver's abstract.
