Health Careers in Sask is currently seeking a Community Mental Health Nurse to join their team in La Loche, a picturesque town located approximately 347 km north of Meadow Lake. This is a full-time regular position with a salary range of $42,040 to $52,440 per year.



Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a range of services to residents of the health region. This will include screening, triage, assessment, treatment, and case management services, as well as program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, clinical supervision, and professional and public education regarding mental health issues and resources.



Responsibilities


  • Provide complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case management services to residents of the health region
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, clinical supervision, and professional and public education regarding mental health issues and resources


Requirements


  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Workplace Assessment and Violence Education certificate (WAVE)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
