Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and addressing customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Leadership: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You will be required to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
