About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Mr. Amzallag. As a key member of our household support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep our home tidy and organized
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging their cognitive and social development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our little ones receive the fuel they need to thrive
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, helping them develop healthy sleep habits
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a stable and loving presence in their lives
  • Help children with homework, supporting their academic growth and development
  • Cook, preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our family
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • Language of work: English or French
  • Hours of work: 40 hours per week
