Rail Inspector

Job Title: Rail Inspector - Wolverton Facility

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Inspector to join our team at the Wolverton facility. As a Rail Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting inbound vehicles for damage, photographing and reporting on damage, and auditing offloaded vehicles for AAR standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect inbound vehicles for damage and report on findings
• Audit offloaded vehicles for AAR standards
• Scan vehicles with the mobile device for yard inventory
• Clean van interiors and fuel vans
• Assist yard supervisors and dispatchers as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of heavy labor experience
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Valid full G driver's license
• Ability to communicate in English

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily conducted outside in various weather conditions
• Work at a fast pace and in tight spaces
• Work at a height of approximately 15 ft. above ground

Physical Requirements:

• Good sense of balance
• Ability to push, pull, or carry up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Standing, walking, climbing, and stooping
