Full-Time Community Nurse Opportunity in Parry Sound

We are looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) who desire flexibility in their schedules. This is a full-time position in the Parry Sound area, requiring hours of work within a 2-week rotation inclusive of weekends and on-call work.
The Role Involves:- Developing and maintaining effective care plans with respect to community health services
- Providing exceptional nursing services to patients in their homes, both in-person and virtually
- Communicating and liaising with patients, family members, and other interdisciplinary care team members
- Performing other clinical duties as required
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license and vehicle for regular travel
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- CPR Certification
- A current immunization record, including a 2-step TB test
In addition to providing home-based health care, CarePartners serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and provides relief in retirement homes and shared care settings. Our Community Nursing Services outreach program has been organizing staff-led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to healthcare since 2009.
