Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

Join Price-Mart West Royalty as a Shipper-Receiver and be part of a dynamic team that ensures the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to handle shipping and receiving tasks, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents; assemble containers and crates; inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain internal record-keeping systems; record shortages and reject damaged goods; pack goods to be shipped; unpack goods received.
  • Customer Service: Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments; oversee loading and unloading of goods; supervise material handlers and helpers.
  • Administrative Tasks: Pay and receive payments for goods; train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures; stock shelves and display areas; sell merchandise.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail service establishment and warehouse setting.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery: Dollies and hand trucks, pallet lifters, and scanners.
