We are seeking an experienced concrete finisher to join our team as a Cement Craft Specialist.



Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement using specialized techniques.
  • Preparing quotations and estimates for clients, ensuring accurate calculations and timelines.
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete surfaces, achieving optimal density and texture.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, inspecting work areas and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall performance.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, attending workshops and training sessions to expand skills and expertise.


Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:



  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent physical fitness, with the capacity to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.


Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
