Furniture Handler Job Description

At Solomon Budala Enterprises Inc., we are seeking a reliable and efficient Furniture Handler to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks and delivery vehicles
• Shipping orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Weighing materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
• Making labels and attaching them to goods
• Packing and unpacking goods to ensure safe transportation
• Organizing and maintaining inventory to optimize storage space
• Assisting trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
• Working under pressure to meet deadlines
• Handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory and shipping
• Bending, crouching, and kneeling to perform tasks
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking to perform tasks
• Standing for extended periods to perform tasks

Weight Handling:

• Handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
