Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Strategic Business Growth Associate to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada in Montreal. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise to drive business growth and development.

About the Role:

This 12-month fixed-term contract position will focus on providing pre- and post-sales planning, support, and relationship management within our Advisor Channel Sales (ACS) team. As a Strategic Business Growth Associate, you will play a crucial role in contributing to territory sales objectives by partnering with District Vice Presidents (DVPs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively position the value of RBC GAM to Investment Advisors to proactively secure meetings for the DVP.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with Investment Advisors and key partners to provide exceptional service and responses to requests, inquiries, and operational cases.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on all Sales Practices and Process elements within the territory.
  • Lead the planning, sourcing, and execution of territory promotional campaigns and/or events, as necessary.
  • Engage in the discovery, identification, and management of the territory opportunity pipeline.
  • Generate leads and/or sales opportunities by pulling and analyzing sales reporting data and/or fund comparisons and portfolio reviews.
  • Reconcile DVP monthly expenses and manage territory budgets.
Requirements:
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will regularly serve clients and do business with RBC partners and employees across Canada.
  • Enrollment or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
  • Previous experience in sales or client-facing roles.
  • An interest in capital markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and rapport with clients, peers, and partners via email, phone, or in-person.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
