A Niu Veterinary Hospital Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in providing exceptional care to animals.
About the RoleThis permanent position involves working in a fast-paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital environment, handling and caring for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for collecting samples and performing laboratory tests, preparing and administering medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian, and assisting with surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Duties: Collect samples, perform laboratory tests, handle and care for animals, assist with surgeries, prepare and administer medications and vaccines.
- Client Communication: Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on animal behavior and nutrition.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform routine office management duties, including maintaining patient records and updating medical histories.
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
