Kitchen Manager

We are a leading restaurant in the heart of the city, serving authentic East Indian cuisine. As a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team as a Kitchen Manager.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per yearThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and supervising a team of cooks. This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours of work per week.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring smooth service delivery;
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation;
- Controlling inventory and ordering supplies;
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area;
- Developing and implementing menu plans and promotions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure;
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
