About the Role

Cygnisoft Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team in areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, provide information or services to employees, and prepare and post notices and advertisements.
  • Employee Engagement: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Employee Support: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, determine eligibility to entitlements, and arrange staff training.
  • Supervision: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
