Job Summary

Vancouver Aquarium Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Wildlife Conservation Professional to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Biological Research and Analysis: Assist in conducting biological tests and laboratory analyses to ensure the health and well-being of animals in our care.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Conduct environmental monitoring and compliance activities for the protection of wildlife and other natural resources.
  • Animal Care: Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery, as well as ensure that procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: A diploma or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in animal care and conservation is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
