Food Service Manager

China Garden Restaurant LTD. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining accurate records and minimizing waste.
- Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to management.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring data integrity and informed decision-making.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food preparation standards.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work HoursThe successful candidate will work 60 to 80 hours bi-weekly, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the restaurant.
