Heavy Equipment Operator Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator Assistant to join our team at GORILLA TRANSPORT. This is a physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Maintain accurate records of tasks completed and materials used
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding labor with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Manual dexterity required for operating equipment and performing tasks
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting heavy loads
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Personal Suitability:
- Dependable and organized individual
- Excellent oral communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $60,000 per annum
