Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary IV - Accounting to join our team at the Sobey School of Business. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our faculty and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial and clerical support to faculty and students, including organizing meetings, events, and special projects.
  • Manage shared department networks, drives, and information repositories.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, as well as document delivery and distribution.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for student requests and inquiries, providing accurate information and effective referrals.
  • Perform other administrative support duties as assigned, including providing backup support to other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Completion of High School plus one year Community College business, secretarial, or related course and minimum one year related experience.
  • Technical typing and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential material, as well as work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
