We are inviting applications for the role of Data Centre Operations Specialist, a key position within our Service Desk team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, creating and resolving incidents, and managing IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records and log updates to our configuration management database (CMDB).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over various channels.
  • Create, acknowledge, follow-up, escalate, and resolve incidents/service requests according to Service Desk procedures within allocated timelines.
  • Work from Noida, India, and be open to working in US shifts, including afternoon and night rotations.
  • Backup and image IT assets as per procedures.
  • Adhere to and enforce Security and Corporate policies related to IT hardware/software usage.
  • Manage and monitor IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records and log updates to CMDB.
  • Perform ad-hoc/project-related tasks assigned by the Service Desk manager.
  • Create and/or maintain/update technical Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate in Technology with Computers or IT stream OR Graduate in any stream with course in Computers or IT stream.
  • Technical and system expertise in relevant IT workstreams.
  • Ability to effectively interact with users and IT staff in implementing new functionality and solving problems.

About the Role

The estimated salary for this role is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
