Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our accounting team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports and statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to team members on financial matters.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work.
- Coordinate activities with other departments as required.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Accurate and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
