About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Expert to join our team at Kumaran Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems using Kubernetes and other cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift clusters following best practices.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning (ML) workflows using MLOps, A.I., MLFlow, and other relevant tools.
  • Configure cluster authentication, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and security policies to ensure a secure environment.
  • Customize cluster configurations to meet specific application requirements.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of OpenShift clusters.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster operations and application deployments.
  • Perform regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal cluster performance.
  • Manage cluster scaling, including adding or removing nodes as needed.
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters.
  • Maintain the security of OpenShift environments by applying security patches, access controls, and network policies.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for OpenShift clusters.
  • Test and verify disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Qualifications
  • Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer.
  • Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.
  • Fluency in Python programming language.
  • Comfort with Linux administration.
  • Experience working with cloud computing and database systems.
  • Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs.
  • Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open-source tools.
  • Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
