We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with 80-96 hours of bi-weekly work. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent in a healthcare-related field and less than 7 months of experience.
Work SettingThe successful candidate will be working in a rural nursing home setting, providing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities- Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Transporting patients using a wheelchair or stretcher
- Responding to call signals to determine patient needs
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
- Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training
- Continuing Care Assistant Certification
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Child Abuse Registry check
- Immunization records
- Adult Abuse Registry check

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
