Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes. You will examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, and work with computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Work with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Work with various materials, including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel, iron, and heavy metals
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in MIG welding
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
