About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Bella Vista Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
