Health PEI invites applications for Anesthesia specialists to work in unique settings on Prince Edward Island. Remuneration:

Two major hospitals provide emergency, surgical, inpatient, and ambulatory care services: Prince County Hospital in Summerside and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown.

Daily Rate:
  • Monday-Friday: $3,100 - $4,400
  • Saturday-Sunday: $2,500 - $3,700 (on call, no day list on weekend)
  • Day list NOT on call: $1,500 - $1,600
  • Day list post call, NOT on call: $2,000 - $2,100

Contract hourly ranges of $145.00 - $165.57 depending on years of service or Fee For Service.

Locum Supports and Reimbursements:

We offer various benefits for out-of-province locums, including accommodations, living expense stipends, paid travel time, and more.

Appointment to the Health PEI Medical Staff and appropriate privileging.

In the event of a discrepancy in information on this website and the Master Agreement, the Master Agreement shall prevail.
