Business Systems Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at 360insights. As a key member of our project team, you will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing and internal discovery sessions to gather and document customer functional and technical requirements.
- Develop solution documentation and design alternatives, and facilitate agreement on designs that satisfy project success factors and reflect industry and software best practices.
- Configure internal and 3rd party software solutions based on solution design and perform quality assurance to minimize rework.
- Maintain high-quality requirements documentation over the life of a project, with a focus on utility over extensiveness.
- Lead regular project discussions with customers and project teams to review work plans, risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
- Consult with internal departments to understand and document the impacts of solution alternatives to support project decision making.
- Design and deliver internal and client-facing training sessions, and author training materials as required.
Requirements
- Organized, clear, and concise communication skills, with the ability to present in an executive boardroom environment.
- Past experience with statement of work (SOW), business requirements definition (BRD), and workflow preparation is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, with direct work experience in a related field such as quality assurance, system configuration, testing, etc.
- Current with today's technology and the drive towards business systems being SaaS.
- Strong business process and business logic mindset.
