Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Procurement Manager to join our team at Maple Lodge Farms, a leading Canadian poultry processor. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process for consumables and ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the purchasing process for consumables, including RFQs, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams, to ensure alignment on product management and category strategy.
  • Analyze market trends and make informed decisions on supplier selection and negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCMP) is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
