At CliftonLarsonAllen, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative II - Billing Services to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the accounts receivable process for multiple clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills and a minimum of three years of customer service experience with familiarity with Account Receivable principles.

Salary

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $40-$60 USD per hour, depending on factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for handling numerous customer service calls related to billings, property ownership changes, and more. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service expertise and serving as the first level of escalation for customer inquiries on all billing service clients
  • Coordinating property ownership change requests, preparation of final billings, and new customer setups
  • Researching ownership issues with the county assessor, maintaining records, and processing notes on customer accounts
  • Assisting with preparation and mailing of customer bills, delinquent notices, collecting and posting payments on account, assisting with payment arrangements, and preparing shut-off notices

In addition to customer service expertise, this role will also assist with rate increases, preparation of consumption reports, water budgets, and mailing of newsletters, as well as prepare drafts of correspondence to support communications with residents and others.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of customer service experience with strong data entry skills
  • Familiarity with Account Receivable principles
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in customer service or a business-related field is a plus
