Job Summary:
Mcewan Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, providing guidance to cooks, and overseeing kitchen staff. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
Work Environment and Requirements:
This role requires the ability to work in an English-speaking environment with variable locations. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 44 hours per week. A permanent work term is offered.
