Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $82,000 - $85,000 per year, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation and employee well-being.

Job Description

The Assistant Director of Human Resources plays a vital role in driving the growth and success of the HR team at Hyatt Regency Vancouver. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering training, coaching, and motivation to team members, while fostering positive labour relations and a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Cultivate a consultative approach to labour relations with leaders, union partners, and colleagues
  • Provide guidance on collective agreements, labour laws, and policies
  • Collaborate with the HR team to enhance the employee value proposition
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, health and safety, and training and development
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
