Job Description for Plumbing Specialist

Finest Plumbing & Heating Ltd is seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing and heating.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
