Lead Quality Assurance Automation
Prospera Credit Union is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the Test Center of Excellence and Community of Practice framework to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and standardization of QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Lead a team of QA Analysts to execute testing activities and achieve quality goals.
- Develop and maintain QA standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead the introduction, design, and implementation of automated testing solutions within a QA Community of Practice.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automated testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and coach team members on test automation best practices and methodologies.
- Define and enforce automation standards and guidelines within the organization.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support functional testing activities.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance testing, leadership, process, and automation.
- Financial services industry experience an asset.
- Proven experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium or similar.
- Proven experience with API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
