Food Service Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Appleby Line. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
