The Government of Canada - Central seeks a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Administrative Support Coordinator for Government Operations.
Salary Information:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
In this role, you will provide administrative support to the CEO Office, allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs. You will also coordinate work across regions, divisions, or departments, establishing objectives and formulating policies and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Work Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
- Policymaking: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Negotiations: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong educational background and relevant work experience. A college education is required, and prior experience working in a government setting is preferred.
