Job Title: Janitorial Site Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Site Supervisor to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our site facilities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of industrial janitors and floor professionals
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with general cleaning duties, including trash removal, dusting, and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and offices
  • Perform floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
  • Coach and train staff to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Ensure all health and safety processes are completed and compliant
  • Manage budgets and financial resources effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' residency in Canada for clearance purposes
  • Proven experience in floor care, including scrubbing, buffing, and polishing floors
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift
  • Clear criminal background check required
  • Basic computer skills
