At Ontario Teachers', we are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can work closely with the Operations team to drive process improvements and optimize business operations. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to drive business results.

About the Role

This is a 12-month opportunity to gain broad exposure to working in a multi-departmental environment. You will have the chance to develop your business, technical, and analytical skills while working on challenging strategic problems and guiding impactful decisions. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to distil insights from complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support performance management by analyzing reports, compiling results, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist workforce management in the Contact centre by scheduling, administering, and communicating with team members.
  • Facilitate service delivery to plan members by planning administration, communication, and internal work distribution.
  • Work cross-functionally as part of larger project teams to deliver against corporate scorecard initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, creating and maintaining documents as needed.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and technology to drive business results.

Requirements

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distil insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A high level of organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
