About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team at CIBC. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing them with expert financial advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building - Meet with clients to understand their financial needs and goals, provide personalized financial advice and recommendations, and develop a comprehensive financial plan to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Financial Planning and Advice - Provide clients with expert financial advice on investment, credit, and banking products and services, and help them make informed decisions about their financial affairs.
  • Business Development - Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our client base, increase revenue, and expand our market share.
  • Technology and Innovation - Stay up-to-date with the latest financial technologies and innovations, and use this knowledge to provide clients with cutting-edge financial solutions and services.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Financial Knowledge and Experience - A strong understanding of financial products and services, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Professional Certifications - A professional certification in financial services, such as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, is an asset.
  • Business Acumen - Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions about business growth and development.
  • Team Player - A team player with a strong work ethic, who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
