Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partners and Senior Managers to ensure the effective control of external assurance engagements, ensuring they are properly planned, staffed, and executed.
  • Manage client accounts, including billing, fee analysis, and new service development.
  • Review the work of junior staff, provide constructive feedback, training opportunities, and guidance for their career development.
  • Contribute to assurance planning strategies and supervise their implementation.
Requirements
  • Valid CPA Designation or international equivalent.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Canadian ASPE, Canadian Audit Standards, NPO Accounting Standards, and related technical literature.
  • Experience with Canadian Corporate/Personal Tax, Payroll Tax, Sales Tax, and CRA compliance matters.
  • Experience using various accounting software, including Sage50, Sage300, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Desktop, is considered an asset.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
