Luminato Festival Toronto is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our Development Team.

Job Description
  • Manage a portfolio of donors at various stages of their relationship with Luminato and develop tailored stewardship strategies to increase donor retention.
  • Lead and implement an effective cultivation plan for building a pipeline of prospective individual donors and foundations.
  • Build relationships with new foundation funding sources both national and international through effective research, cultivate new relationships, and strengthen existing relationships with current foundation funders.

This role offers an opportunity to work across the organization to devise and execute innovative philanthropic strategies, collaborating with senior volunteers and managing junior colleagues. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to nurture and develop long-term relationships with prospective and current donors.
  • Resourcefulness and independence, comfort working with shifting timelines and priorities.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience working with CRM products, ideally Raisers Edge.

Estimated Salary: $92,500 - $102,500 per annum. This salary estimate is based on industry standards and the level of experience required for this role. We are committed to providing a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions.
