About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team at Robertson & Company Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert audit, accounting, and tax services to individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and team members on review and audit engagements, as well as corporate tax work.
  • Manage your own tasks and contribute to the overall office workflow with excellent organizational skills.
  • Work with partners and clients on tax compliance and planning for owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and trusts, demonstrating proficiency in Canadian tax.
Requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or enrolled candidate.
  • 3-6 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills to oversee engagements, ensure high-quality file preparation, develop technical and analytical abilities, and maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with accounting, tax, and document management software, such as CaseWare, Doc-it, Taxprep, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • Ability to identify and implement technology solutions to address client business challenges and drive office efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both with clients and within the team.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
