SEO Specialist

At Somewhere, we're seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to play a key role in shaping the future of our brand. As a dynamic and results-driven professional, you'll be responsible for driving our online presence and improving our search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify valuable search terms for our business and target audience.
  • On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to align with SEO best practices, including internal linking strategies.
  • Technical SEO: Address website performance issues like page speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexation, and conduct regular audits to identify technical problems.
  • Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to ensure all web pages and blog posts are SEO-friendly, including keyword placement, formatting, and proper use of headers.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute effective strategies for acquiring high-quality backlinks, which may involve outreach, guest blogging, or other methods.
  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor websites and their SEO strategies to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to track key SEO metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions) and create reports showing progress and areas for improvement.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Keep current with algorithm changes, industry trends, and new tools to ensure strategies remain effective.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, web development, and content teams to implement SEO best practices across various aspects of the website.
Requirements:
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in SEO with demonstrable results (increased rankings, traffic, conversions).
  • Ability to analyze traffic trends, click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Skill in creating and presenting SEO performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Expertise in optimizing website content, meta tags, title tags, and internal linking structures.
  • Knowledge of backlink strategies, outreach, and relationship-building for link building.
