Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Flooring Installation

At Hart's House of Flooring, we are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. You will also be involved in picking orders and stocking, making labels and attaching them to goods, wrapping goods, packing and unpacking goods, installing, lashing and securing goods, storing cargo and materials, transporting and distributing materials and goods, organizing and maintaining inventory, stocking shelves and display areas, recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods, reading and interpreting specifications or following verbal instructions, performing laboring duties in warehouses, operating a forklift, monitoring equipment to detect wear and damage, maintaining internal record-keeping systems, loading and unloading goods, loading and unloading vehicles, greeting people and directing them to contacts or service areas, greeting customers, performing light cleaning duties, verifying receipts and packing slips, following directions and reading maps, and recording incoming stock.

Responsibilities:

* Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
* Pick orders and stock
* Make labels and attach to goods
* Wrap goods
* Pack and unpack goods
* Install, lash, and secure goods
* Store cargo and materials
* Transport and distribute materials and goods
* Organize and maintain inventory
* Stock shelves and display areas
* Record shortages and reject damaged goods
* Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
* Perform laboring duties in warehouses
* Operate a forklift
* Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage
* Maintain internal record-keeping systems
* Load and unload goods
* Load and unload vehicles
* Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
* Greet customers
* Perform light cleaning duties
* Verify receipts and packing slips
* Follow directions and read maps
* Record incoming stock

Requirements:

* 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
* Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
* Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
