Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Pelican Events and Catering. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Help with food storage and inventory management.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with food service, including setting tables, serving food, and clearing dishes.
- Help with food packaging and labeling.
- Perform other duties as required to support the kitchen team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
