We're seeking a Senior Mutual Funds Investment Specialist to join our Trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing daily Mutual Fund trades for Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, and staff, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding versatility, with the ability to conduct business professionally, build rapport, and exercise resourcefulness and understanding. They will be proficient in computer skills and have good knowledge of FundSERV, myserv, Broadridge, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This role requires independence and self-motivation, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong organizational and time management skills.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary education
  • 5-10 years of experience in the investment industry with a good understanding of mutual fund investments
  • Successful completion of the CSC & CPH or IFIC certification
  • Understanding of FundSERV N$M settlements; purchases, redemptions, switches, cash/reinvested, and notional distributions
  • Understanding of various mutual fund products; hedge funds, pooled funds, investment trusts, flow-thru shares, linked notes, GICs, HISA's, and open-end mutual funds
  • Recognizes and understands regulatory rules governing mutual funds established by IIROC and MFDA
