Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Toromont Cat. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment, adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts, keeping maintenance reports and documentation, testing repaired equipment for proper performance, and performing other routine maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform other routine maintenance

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • or equivalent experience
