Job Description

As an Installation Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing, supervising, and implementing mechanical and electrical installations in our factory and on customer sites. You will also support various engineering teams to successfully complete projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resourcefulness, analytical skills, and the ability to propose and implement mechanical and electrical solutions during installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities on Customer Site
  • Supervise external mechanical and electrical installation resources;
  • Ensure the smooth running, delivery, and quality of our mechanical and electrical installations;
  • Communicate and interact with customers throughout the installation;
  • Update and communicate working documents to monitor the progress of the installation remotely;
  • Support the commissioning team during system startup;
  • Diagnose and propose solutions to the project team to successfully complete the installation;
  • Customize mechanical parts required for project progression (if necessary, on customer site);
  • Maintain compliance with the customer's health and safety requirements and standards.
Responsibilities at NūMove
  • Be responsible for factory installation and dismantling for installation on customer sites:
    • Provide technical support for assemblers;
    • Supervise and execute mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical installations.
  • Support the execution of shipping documents;
  • Participate in planning and scheduling our mechanical and electrical installations;
  • Contribute to the production of 'dismantling scope of work' and 'installation scope of work' documents, working closely with engineering to integrate technical details and production recommendations;
  • Organize tools necessary for the smooth operation of our facilities;
  • Collaborate with engineering and control personnel regarding workshop testing needs:
    • Make necessary adjustments for the smooth running of tests;
    • Implement one-off modifications to optimize the system.
  • Participate in the production of various assemblies and equipment and perform mechanical and electrical production of robotic equipment;
  • Arrange floor space to ensure adequate and efficient work;
  • Adhere to and ensure monitoring of NūMove's established health and safety standards;
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and tools;
  • Pursue other related tasks (building support, etc.).
Requirements
  • Available for international travel (minimum four times per year) for durations ranging from 1 day to 4 weeks, totaling approximately 16 to 20 weeks annually;
  • Hold a DEC in electromechanics or equivalent diploma;
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Hold a forklift driver's license;
  • Valid driver's license and passport, with no travel restrictions;
  • Experience in industrial automation and machine manufacturing (asset);
  • Fluency in French;
  • Functional English, considering the position's nature and interactions with US and English Canadian customers;
  • Familiarity with computers and the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of machining (asset).
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

This estimate is based on industry standards, the complexity of the role, and the location. The actual salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
